Coastal Deer

coastaldeer.jpg Coastal Deer is used for small Comparaduns.  It is a medium textured hair that is ½" - 1½" in length with well defined barred tips.  This hair has no micro growth so stacking is easy.  The smaller diameter of the hair allows flies to be tied in the 18 - 22 size hook range.  Also works for small clipped bodies.
